Kappo Kaako is seemingly on his way out of New York, and now three intriguing teams have emerged as front runners to land the talented young winger.

The New York Rangers are on the cusp of a Stanley Cup Finals appearance, but after the up and down performances of their home grown talent, we could be looking at a major change or two. One player that is likely on the way out is young winger Kaapo Kakko, with reports all off-season long indicating that the team may be ready to move on.
Now, three teams have emerged as potential suitors for Kakko, as the Rangers look to add talent that can help them win now, rather than someone like Kakko, who hasn't developed the way the team would have hoped.
As per Jacob Punturi of Sports Illustrated, the Flames, the Sharks, and the Penguins are interested in trading for Kaapo Kakko. #NYR
At this point, it's unclear whether San Jose, Pittsburgh or Calgary have officially made an offer for Kakko or whether they simply have interest in him and are making that known. However, with the Rangers Cup hopes dwindling by the year, they need to make a win-now move, and if they find the right deal, don't be shocked to see a blockbuster deal go down before the 2024/25 regular season begins.
