The NHL has an issue with their streaming services and ways for fans to watch, and now the Stars have changed that in a way that will cost Gary Bettman.

The Dallas Stars have often been at the forefront of change and innovation in the NHL, and now they've started a service that will be helpfully to all fans in the Stars TV market. According to a report, the team have started a service called Victory+, which will allow fans to watch the team for free in conjunction with A Parent Media Co.

The Dallas Stars have launched a free in-market streaming service for fans called Victory+. It's a 7-year deal with A Parent Media Co. Again, if you live in Stars TV market it is now free to watch the team.

Given how much Gary Bettman and the NHL look to bring in revenue, this could perhaps cost the league millions with loss of fans subscribing to other streaming services league wide, such as ESPN+, and fans couldn't love the idea any more than they do.

There's still many questions to be answered about the service and whether or not this will be allowed league wide if other teams decide to go down the same route, but for now, this is a major win for those in the Dallas area, and is something that other teams will no doubt look to copy.
