Following his recent signing with the Seattle Kraken, defenseman Brandon Montour revealed more information on the Florida Panthers' Stanley Cup celebration.

The Panthers had a remarkable year, finally, after 30 years, winning their first Stanley Cup. Despite their reputation as a fanless team, people all over South Florida celebrated in the streets.
"BRING OUT THE POTS AND PANS! Watch as Panthers fans in Westchester celebrate the team's Stanley Cup victory South Florida-style!"
However, it was not just the fans that took partying to another level. On a recent edition of the Missin Curfew Podcast, defenseman Brandon Montour shared details of the team's celebration in and out of the locker rooms. According to the player, after all the players celebrated with champagne and cigars, he was an early departure at 5:30 in the morning.
"Now that I look back, the parade was insane, but partying in the locker room until probably, I didn't get home until 5:30 a.m., and I might have been one of the earlier ones to leave.

Families, friends, kids were in the locker room with cigars, they were smoking. Champagne, I think the owners wanted us to sign all the champagne bottles, I think there was 167 or something like that."

Unfortunately for Florida, this was Montour's last run with the team. After entering free agency he signed with the Seattle Kraken.
"🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨: Our @SeattleKraken began free agency by signing defenseman and Stanley Cup Champion Brandon Montour.

Kraken net a big fish in free agency, adding Montour fresh off his SC win with Florida. MAJOR move to begin free agency."
With the Florida Panthers behind him, Brandon Montour will have a lot of work to do to win his second Stanley Cup with the Seattle Kraken. Regardless, he certainly has the victory and celebration in his memories that will last a lifetime.
