Per NHL insider Pierre LeBrun, the Detroit Red Wings have re-signed star forward Patrick Kane on a one year deal.
Per several reports now, Patrick Kane has signed a one year deal with the Detroit Red Wings, extending his stay in the city after having gone there as a free agent last year.
The Chicago Blackhawks legend, and three time Stanley Cup Champion had much to contemplate; a return to Chicago, a reunion with the New York Rangers, or supposed offers from the Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins coming July 1st.
Instead, Patrick Kane chose to stay in Detroit, but on a short term deal. The AAV is yet to be announced.
