Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Islanders on the verge of massive trade

The Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Islanders have been rivals for years, since the latter's signing of John Tavares. They may make a trade this summer, however.

Per well-respected NHL insider Incarcerated Bob, who has had the first scoop on many NHL stories over the last few years, the Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Islanders are in trade talks.

Lou Lamoriello is infamous for being a secretive GM, so the exact targets are unknown.

It is unsure who is being targeted here, but it may be right handed defenseman Alexander Romanov, goaltender Ilya Sorokin, or forward Oliver Wahlstrom.

This will certainly be a fun story to watch as the off-season unfolds.
