The Florida Panthers have tied up game two of the Stanley Cup Finals, but unsurprisingly, it hasn't come without controversy from the officials.

The start of this Stanley Cup Finals has been hotly contested, and after two periods, we head into the third and deciding one with the game tied at 1-1 between Edmonton and Florida. It was a goal from Niko Mikkola that tied it up, and it came after a wild sequence that saw him almost score on his own goaltender.

Mikkola almost scores on Bob... then beats Skinner.

Fun, wild sequence. 😂

However, this doesn't come without drama, as one social media user pointed out the potential interference from an official on veteran Connor Brown during the fast-paced goal.

Anybody else see the ref stop Connor Brown before that goal????

Slowing it down, it certainly doesn't show a good look for the NHL officials, but given the pace at which Brown was travelling right at the official, it's tough to see where he would have been able to get out of the way.

It is hard to deny that the official impacted the play though, so whether or not the Oilers go on to tie up this series before it shifts to Edmonton for games three and four, it will no doubt be a talking point coming out of this game.
