The Stanley Cup champion Corey Perry may have played his last ever NHL game as the Edmonton Oilers continue to be successful in the playoffs without his help.

Perry, 39, has played in 1311 regular season games in the NHL since 2005, showing over the years that he belonged in the NHL's elite. Unfortunately, his career took a bad turn this year.
He started the season with the Chicago Blackhawks, but it turned into a nightmare when his contract was terminated.
After a month off, he was finally able to join another team and the Edmonton Oilers decided to give him a chance. He signed a contract to help them in the rest of the season and the playoffs valued at $775,000.
However, in the playoffs, he failed to keep up with his usual performances, which led to Kris Knoblauch deciding to scratch him in games six and seven against the Vancouver Canucks, as well as the first game against the Dallas Stars.
Considering that this could very well be Perry's last playoff run, it's clear that he would've preferred to contribute and help his team win than watching them from the stands.
Do you think Corey Perry will retire after the current season?
