After another poor playoff performance with the Leafs, Mitch Marner appears to be on the way out, and now a top insider has revealed the odds on that happening.

The Maple Leafs off-season is just a few weeks old, but they already have a new Head Coach in the form of Craig Berube, with many more huge decisions to be made over the next few months. One big move that many expect is the blockbuster trade of Mitch Marner, and while some expect him to remain in Toronto, NHL Insider Frank Seravalli has revealed the odds that No. 16 is moved this off-season.

Given that he's an unrestricted free agent a year from now, it makes sense that the Maple Leafs would love to move Marner and fill other holes on their roster, but unfortunately, they also have to deal with his NMC.

It's unclear yet whether or not Marner will waive it for anyone, a limited amount of teams or whether or not the team have even approached him, but at the moment, all signs point towards that happening.

Despite the negative attention, Marner still holds plenty of value as a trade chip for the Maple Leafs, so it's very safe to say that it will be a long summer for Marner and Toronto, and if Seravalli is right, we'll see him on a new team for the 2024-25 campaign.
