The Boston Bruins confirmed the fate of their captain Brad Marchand ahead of the 5th clash against the Florida Panthers in the 2nd round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

At today's morning skate, many fans breathed a sigh of relief when they saw that Marchand was back on the ice after a scary injury:

Marchand had to leave game three after a dirty sucker punch from Panthers' Sam Bennett. He missed the fourth game, and now, head coach Jim Montgomery announced that he won't be available tonight, in Florida, as the Bruins face elimination for the second straight game.

The NHL surprised many fans with their decision not to suspend Sam Bennett for his dirty play on Marchand.

This video should be enough proof alone to suspend him:

A major challenge awaits the Bruins tonight. They couldn't make a push to win game four without their captain, and without him once again, it doesn't look good for Jim Montgomery's men.

On the verge of seeing their season end, the Bruins will definitely try to leave it all on the ice to make sure they can return to Boston for a sixth game.

Do you think the Boston Bruins will be eliminated from the Stanley Cup Playoffs tonight, in game 5, against the Panthers in Florida?
