Several teams have reportedly already inquired with the Toronto Maple Leafs about a potential Mitch Marner trade.

Even if he had to take his share of the blame for the Leafs' elimination against the Boston Bruins in the first round of the playoffs, there's no doubt that Marner is an amazing hockey player.

In 576 career games with the Maple Leafs, the forward tallied 639 points, showing he can bring constancy during the regular season.

According to a new report from Nick Kypreos, his recent struggles won't scare teams on the market. The analyst believes that multiple teams already showed interest in Marner:

"There are already multiple NHL teams that have reached out and shown a keen interest in a three-time all-star player who closes in on 100 points every season. And that's with the knowledge that his next contract could land him as much as $100 million."

Marner still has a year left on his contract. Acquiring by a trade won't be cheap, and his next contract will also cost a lot of money.

Many teams are looking to add a key player this summer, and the Leafs should jump on that occasion to ship him to another organization. In fact, if you ask us, they should do the same with Morgan Rielly and John Tavares.
