The Arizona Coyotes are officially done, and with the team visiting Utah today, their Head Coach had some choice words for his former employer.

After weeks of speculation, NHL in Utah is going full steam ahead, with the former Arizona Coyotes team and staff heading to Salt Lake City today to take in their new home and meet the fans. Unsurprisingly given the demand for season tickets, the reception they received was fantastic, with the city buzzing ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Now that they are free of Arizona, more details are emerging of the struggles the front office had there, with Head Coach Andre Tourigny making a pointed statement on Wednesday, as revealed by Insider Frank Seravalli;

Utah's Andre Tourigny said he's spent seven years working in the #NHL and he said stepping off the plane today in Salt Lake City was his best day yet.

Sure, it may be an answer purely to get the new crowd on his side, but given what we know about Alex Meruelo and how hard he was to deal with for some in Arizona, it's safe to say that Tourigny is excited about the prospects of a future in Salt Lake City.
