If you've ever laced up a pair of skates and stepped out onto the ice to play a hockey game, you'll know first hand how unbelievably exhilarating of a game it is to be a part of. On the flip-side, if you're playing in a competitive setting and the game is not tilted in your favor, it can also be quite frustrating.

The latter seemed to be the case for Nasvhille Predators center Ryan Johansen, who was visibly and audibly frustrated with his team's performance through two periods on Thursday in Raleigh, North Carolina against the Hurricanes.

Following two frames, during which the Canes scored four unanswered goals, Johansen took part in a mid-game interview during a Fox Sports broadcast where he was asked whether some bad bounces and bad luck came into play through 40-minutes and what the Preds' mindset was heading into the third down 4-0.

"Uh, yeah, sure," Johansen said about the bad bounces and the Preds' misfortune. "It's just frustrating - we want to go out there and get back in this game."

Blunt and not at all candid during his interview, Johansen carried the same energy with his answer to Fox Sports' second question, appearing as though he couldn't be bothered more by even taking part in the quick interview at all.

On what the mindset was prior to the beginning of the final frame, Johansen response was straight to the point, and he did not mince words.

"Go score five goals."

The Preds have plenty of reason to be frustrated this season, as they are almost entirely out of the running to make the postseason, sitting 10 points back of the 4th place Chicago Blackhawks in the Central Division with just one game-in-hand. Add to that the fact that they're facing a probable rebuild scenario, and you have a recipe for a whole lot of angst and disappointment in Nashville for at least the next few seasons.

The Preds have now lost back-to-back games heading into a four-game stretch where they will play two games against each of the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Florida Panthers. This could get a whole lot uglier for the Preds in a hurry if they can't put it together in short order.
