The St.Louis Blues and goaltender Jordan Binnington are sticking with each other for the next while. The team and Binningtom have reached a six-year contract extension worth $36 million dollars ($6 million AAV).

Binnington was instrumental in the Blues Stanley Cup run in 2019, taking over the net midway through the season. The Blues were at the bottom of the league at the time and went at the way to the final, eventually winning their first championship.

Binnington, 27, was originally drafted by the Blues in the third round (No. 88 overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft. The Richmond Hill, Ontario native is currently in his third season with the Blues and has posted a 63-24-11 record, a 2.38 goals-against average, a .915 save percentage and eight shutouts across 102 regular-season games.
