"Jeremiah Addison (@addy1zero) 🇨🇦 — former NHL draft pick and captain of the Memorial Cup winning Windsor Spitfires — has signed a one-year deal with the Perth Thunder (AIHL).

Addison, 27, was drafted by Montreal in 2015, making him one of the few NHL draft picks to play in Australia's top premier league, quite amazing for the growth of the sport in the nation!

Addison played with EV Duisberg (Germany3) 🇩🇪 earlier in the season, putting up three goals and six points in 10 games. He also played six games with the Utah Grizzlies (ECHL) 🇺🇸, registering one goal and two points. He currently has five goals, eight points through two games played to start the Australian league campaign.

The Australian Ice Hockey League ranks 69th on our global league rankings (pinned on our profile) — while Germany3 ranks 33rd, and the ECHL ranks 11th."

More to come.
