Tomas Hertl is set to make his debut with the Vegas Golden Knights tonight in Vancouver against the Canucks.

Hertl was traded to the Golden Knights at the deadline, who sent the forward David Edstrom and their 2025 first-round draft pick to the San Jose Sharks.

The 30 year-old forward had a knee surgery that kept him sidelined for the past two months.

The Golden Knights announced that forward Tomas Hertl will make his debut with Vegas tonight.

According to David Pagnotta, Hertl, who scored 34 points in 48 games this season, will play his first game with the Golden Knights in Vancouver.

"Tomas Hertl is expected to make his #VegasBorn debut tonight against Vancouver; coach Bruce Cassidy will confirm later today. The Knights have 6 games left in the regular-season."

The Golden Knights hope that he can make an impact with his new team in the playoffs, and in the long run as well.

Considering that the Canucks and the Golden Knights could meet in the playoffs, this game should be a fun one to watch.
