During another disappointing performance from the Anaheim Ducks, young star Trevor Zegras threw a tantrum in the penalty box, and it may cost him.

On Thursday, the Anaheim Ducks were looking to split a two game matchup against the Seattle Kraken, but even with the return of young star Trevor Zegras, they fell in a tight contest 4-2.

During that tough outing, Trevor Zegras was sent to the penalty box after he was called for a hold on Brandon Tanev, and when he got there, he let loose, throwing a major tantrum by attacking the NHL's camera equipment.

Trevor Zegras took out his frustration after taking a double-minor in the 3rd by smashing the penalty box camera 😳

On the surface, this is something we've seen from many NHL players over the years, with breaking sticks out frustration becoming the norm, but we've rarely seen someone do this to a camera in the penalty box. Some fans were okay with it, but now, social media has called for Zegras to face discipline for the actions he showed during his childish tantrum.

Video of Trevor Zegras breaking the Roots camera - he should get fined for this behavior (idk if that's a thing full disclosure just my opinion)

It's highly unlikely that a suspension would come from this, but given the value of the equipment in the box, a fine should definitely follow Zegras for his actions. At 23-years of age in his third NHL season, you would have expected him to grow into a mature role by now, but this is another example of how far he's got left to grow before he can become a genuine star in the league.
