Tragedy Hits The Hockey Community As Two Young Women Are Involved In Fatal Crime
This afternoon reports have confirmed more sad news in the hockey community. A pair of young women playing college hockey tragically passed away. The women were the victims of a terrible crime.
Reports have emerged over the last several hours that Sidney Capolino and Meghan Moore have passed away. Both were former DIII hockey athletes at New England College. According to reports the two girls had their lives ended by a st**ker of Meghan Moore.
At just 25 and 23 years old both of these young women were taken far too soon. During their playing careers at New England College Moore was a forward playing in 62 games at the DIII level while Sidney Capolino played defense and suited up for 79 games in her career.
Hockey community suffers immense amount of loss over the last week
Anytime the hockey community suffers a loss like this it is felt worldwide. As of late the hockey community has experienced about as much grief as anyone can take.
Just a couple of days ago the hockey world was shocked to learn of the passing of a notable former NHLer. Former right winger Konstantin Koltsov unfortunately passed away as well this week. Koltsov sadly passed away after reportedly taking his own life.
Our thoughts go out to the families and friends of Sidney Capolino and Meghan Moore as they navigate their journey through the grief of losing a loved one.
