Evgeny Kuznetzov Facing Controversy for Disrespectful Shootout Move

Saturday night's matchup between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Carolina Hurricanes wrapped up with an unforgettable shootout. Notably, Evgeny Kuznetsov once again brought his unique style and (almost) stole the show.

Over his career, Kuznetsov scored many goals that way; taking all the time he can to reach the net and beat the goalie with a quick shot.

The game was pushed into overtime thanks to a stunning comeback by the Hurricanes. Down by two goals with minutes to spare, the Hurricanes rallied to tie the game, including a buzzer-beater with just six seconds remaining.
