The Maple Leafs are getting ready for a busy weekend coming up and are going to be without Mitch Marner for the time which has forced Sheldon Keefe to make some extreme changes.

Nylander Demoted From First Line Ahead Of Important Weekend

With how well William Nylander has been this year many thought it would be an easy choice to bump him up to play with Matthews on that top line but the Leafs are going a different route.

According to reports, Sheldon Keefe is frustrated with the lack of chemistry and poor performances and has demoted Nylander to the second line.
