Elias Lindholm was just flipped by the Calgary Flames to the Vancouver Canucks, but shockingly, it might not be the only time he's traded this season.

Elias Lindholm to the Boston Bruins?

After a poor start to his career in Vancouver, Elias Lindholm is already drawing criticism from Canucks faithful, but they may not have to deal with him much longer.
According to TSN's Chris Johnston, the Canucks are looking into the acquisition of Jake Guentzel, and if that is to happen, they'll be flipping Lindholm to make it happen.
With the #canucks believed to be among those pursuing Jake Guentzel, word is they've had discussions about potentially flipping Elias Lindholm to the #bruins as part of the machinations to make it happen.

Nothing concrete in place at this time. Still lots of moving parts.

What value does Lindholm have at this point?

After a career year in 2021-22 alongside Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Tkachuk, Lindholm's value has taken a nose dive, and after turning down $9 million annually from the Flames this summer, he may live to regret that decision.
In 63 games this season, the once 40 goal scorer has tallied just 13 goals, despite playing alongside some incredibly talented players, and now, his future contract this summer will be a very intriguing one.
As Johnston points out, nothing is imminent on this deal, but with the Penguins looking to move Guentzel in the next 24 hours, we may see some shocking, blockbuster deals going down very, very soon.
