The Boston Bruins are in a perfect position to go on a deep playoff run, but they'll be looking to make a big move ahead of the trade deadline, and now we may know what one of those moves are.

Veteran Derek Forbort causing drama in the Bruins locker room

Last week, it was reported that Derek Forbort was to be scratched for missing a crucial team meeting, and now, further reports are emerging of his poor behaviour in the locker room.
On top of that, his play hasn't been at its best, prompting Bruins insider Jimmy Murphy to offer up this shocking statement on social media;
Given his recent play and now this, I wouldn't be surprised to see Forbort on a new team by the March 8, 3 p.m. ET NHL Trade Deadline.
The 31-year old is a pending free agent this summer after inking a three-year, $9 million deal with the Bruins ahead of the 2021-22 campaign, and it's become clear that the relationship is just no longer working.
Ahead of the March 8 trade deadline, there have been rumours linking the team to hometown kid Noah Hanifin, and in any deal, they'll likely ship out Forbort and other assets, but whether it's this deal or a separate one, don't expect him to be part of the Bruins organization in nine days time.
