The Chicago Blackhawks and the Colorado Avalanche played to a rather one-sided affair on Thursday night, as the Avalanche drubbed the Blackhawks 5-0. Connor Bedard was targeted and frustrated all night, and it clearly showed on the broadcast.

Connor Bedard slashed and with no call he was clearly aggravated

Connor Bedard is a target whenever any team plays the Chicago Blackhawks and even as the Avalanche are atop the division, they still want to make sure he has a tough night. On Thursday night, Bedard had a rough game.
Not only was Bedard -3 on the night, he took a minor penalty for interference, only had one shot, and threw two hits. He was also slashed in the arm by Josh Manson, with the official watching, and no call was made. Bedard was clearly frustrated afterwards, as you can see below:

Bedard was clearly unhappy and shouted at the referee once he got back to the bench. Along with slamming the bench door, of course. Later on in the game he got in to it with Manson again, and was not afraid to get in his face.

The game was a strong performance from the Avs versus the lowly Hawks

While Connor Bedard, or no other Blackhawk for that matter, did not factor in to the score sheet they at least put up a fight in the first period out-shooting the Avs 13 to 11, before being out shot 24 to 11 the rest of the way. It was clearly a game between a bottom five squad and a Stanley Cup contender.
