BREAKING: Montreal Claims Former First-Round Pick Off Waivers
It was revealed today that the Montreal Canadiens have claimed Colin White off waivers.
White was the 21st overall pick back in 2015, and was bought out by the Ottawa Senators last year.
He is a former client of Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes, which makes this an obvious deal.
We will see how long White lasts with the Habs.
And another move from the Canadiens, forward Brandon Gignac has been placed on waivers.
