BREAKING: Montreal Claims Former First-Round Pick Off Waivers

White was the 21st overall pick back in 2015, and was bought out by the Ottawa Senators last year.

He is a former client of Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes, which makes this an obvious deal.

We will see how long White lasts with the Habs.
