Looks like Arshdeep Bains will make his @nhl debut tonight. He'll be only the 4th #Punjabi do this:
Robin Bawa - Oct 8, 1989
Manny Malhotra - Oct 10, 1998
Jujhar Khaira - Nov 18, 2015

This doesn't happen often. Proud of our community. Congrats to Bains Fam and all #Hockey fans!

Bains, 23 years-old, is undrafted and signed a contract with his hometown Canucks last summer.

In 42 games with the Abbotsford Canucks in the AHL, he tallied an impressive 39 points.

He's yet to score his first NHL point, but with the way he played, it shouldn't take long before he gets his name on the scoresheet.
