Connor Bedard is clearly stamping himself as a future star of the Chicago Blackhawks and the entire NHL, and now, he will face off against the former face of the organization for the first time.

Bedard and Kane meet in Chicago for the first time

On Sunday, the Detroit Red Wings and Patrick Kane will head to Chicago to battle the Blackhawks in what's sure to be an emotional night for the veteran superstar.
He's not the only one that's going to be excited for the game however, as rising superstar Connor Bedard has revealed his feelings on facing Kane in Chicago for the first time.
Bedard is already excited to face Patrick Kane for the first time on Sunday:

«I'm just pumped for the video tribute. I think it's gonna be nasty. He had some sick highlights here. I've watched every one of his mixtapes 100 times.»

Connor Bedard cementing himself as a superstar of the game

The Blackhawks were able to win three Stanley Cups in the era of Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews, and after an incredible start to his rookie campaign, there's hope that Bedard can usher in another successful era.
This matchup won't decide how successful he can be in Chicago, but when he sees the tribute video to Kane, he'll know the lofty expectations on his shoulders in what should be an incredibly exciting moment for so many in the city of Chicago.
