After being made a healthy scratch on Sunday, Dallas Stars goaltender Anton Khudobin revealed why he was disciplined by the team.

Khudobin said he was late for practice on Saturday because he didn't sleep well and missed his alarm. The 34-year old added that head coach Rick Bowness had a good discussion with him, and he promised that it wouldn't happen again.

Bowness discussed the discipline following Saturday's practice.

"We're a family and we'll deal with things internally," Bowness said Saturday. "But you deal with things by communicating and making your feelings known on what is and what isn't acceptable. I have very few rules, but you [darn] well better follow them."

Jake Oettinger got the start for Dallas on Sunday afternoon, while Landon Bow served as the back-up. The Stars went on to lose the game by a score of 2 to 1 in overtime.

In six games this season, Khudobin has three wins, two losses, one overtime/shootout loss, a 2.51 G.A.A., a .909 save percentage, and one shutout.
