The Calgary Flames have already moved three UFA's from their current roster in Tyler Toffoli, Nikita Zadorov and Elias Lindholm, and now the question becomes, who is next?

Noah Hanifin next to be traded out of Calgary?

The obvious candidates are Noah Hanifin and Chris Tanev, and while the team are more likely than not to trade the latter, it's not as easy with Hanifin, who is still very young at just 27-years of age.
It has been reported that the Flames have looked to get extension talks going with Hanifin since the summer, but with the trade deadline now less than a month away, a decision needs to be made now.

Calgary Flames give Noah Hanifin an ultimatum

In a sitdown interview with Sportsnet's Eric Francis, Hanifin address the trade rumours, and he seemingly reveals that the team have given him an ultimatum to decide whether he wants to extend or test free agency, and therefore a trade in the next few weeks.
«It's a huge decision obviously it's going to be coming to a head sooner rather than later.» - Noah Hanifin on whether he'll sign an 8-year extension with the Flames or test free agency and be subjected to an imminent trade.
While keeping Hanifin around would be great for chemistry, the Flames have some talent on the blue line in the system as well as the recent return of Oliver Kylington, and if they want to re-tool and get younger players that are committed to the future, the most likely outcome here is a trade.
