New Rumour About Ranger's Forward Chytil Could Mean Bad News for the Team
John from Big Apple Hockey gave us a concerning update on Chytil's status yesterday. Not only could he be out for the remainder of the season, but it seems like the situation could be much worse.
"Just got word from a reliable source that Filip Chytil's career is likely over. #NYR"
Rangers Head Coach Addresses Chytil's Injury
Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette gave an update on his status yesterday confirming that his return date to the NHL is still in question. Chytil currently remains in New York for a period of physical rehabilitation.
"Peter Laviolette confirms Filip Chytil suffered a setback in practice and is continuing to be evaluated and is at home in New York."
Chytil has just six assists in ten games this season. He hasn't played since November 2nd against Carolina.
