Earlier today, NHL legend Patrick Roy held his first practice as the head coach of the New York Islanders.

As you can guess, he's already making noise.

Patrick Roy came back in the NHL after a long wait, and he didn't wait to bring his renowned aggressive coaching style.
Let's just say he brought a lot of intensity.
He started slowly, but he dove right in and shouted orders at his players.
Lots of energy from Patrick Roy at his first Islanders skate. He's barking, banging his stick on the ice and coaching up players during every drill.
Roy found recent coaching success with younger players, winning the Memorial Cup with the Quebec Remparts in the QMJHL.
We'll need to see how his style will be received by Islanders players. However, there's no dout that his experience and passion can help bring the organization to the next level.
