Marc-Andre Fleury is without a doubt a future Hall of Fame goaltender. He could very well be in the last year of his career and with the Wild looking to miss the playoffs, he could be on the move. NHL insider Elliotte Friedman believes he knows who the frontrunners are for him.

Elliotte Friedman Links Fleury To Two Stanley Cup Contending Teams

The NHL insider has linked Fleury to two of the better teams in the NHL in the Colorado Avalanche and Carolina Hurricanes. He noted that both teams could show interest in the veteran netminder this morning on 32 thoughts.
"I'll tell you this: Marc-Andre Fleury has the right to call his shot... but, if we get to a point where the Wild are out, to me Colorado is one of those teams that is gonna ask 'Marc-Andre Fleury would you be interested in this?'

The other team that screams Fleury to me is Carolina. That's the other team I look at and say if Marc-Andre Fleury wants to go somewhere they will ask him."

Both teams should be serious contenders for the Stanley Cup this season. However, both have also had significant problems in goal. Fleury could be an option for either team assuming he is healthy by the trade deadline as he left his last game early with an injury.

Fleury Injured On Dirty Play By Panthers Forward

The veteran netminder was injured last night as Panthers forward Will Lockwood interfered with him as he came out of his net to play the puck. It was revealed today that Lockwood would have a hearing with the Department of Player Safety regarding the play.
According to @NHLPlayerSafety : Florida's William Lockwood will have a hearing today for goalie interference on Minnesota's Marc-Andre Fleury.
It seems as though Fleury will be out for at least a game or two as the team called up Jesper Wallstedt as an emergency replacement in goal.
Hopefully, Fleury won't be out for much more than a game or two. No one would want to see the Hall of Famer's career end on injured reserve.
