A few weeks after the NHL announced Perry's eligibility to join an NHL team, insider Mike Johnson shared new details of the possible timeline for his return.
In an episode of Got Yer Back, a podcast, Johnson said that Perry would receive many contract offers and could get a deal done within the next ten days.
"It's tricky, you might have to take a leap of faith and trust that there's nothing else without actually knowing. But I still think, from what we know about sports, he will be in the NHL."
