This NHL veteran has just been tied into trade talks with this Canadian team that originally drafted him, potentially sending him back to where it all started.

Ceci Tied to Trade Talks With Ottawa Senators

Cody Ceci has played in over 700 career NHL games and is now with the Edmonton Oilers having a pretty remarkable season. While he isn't a big point producer, he has a plus-8 rating, which is good considering he plays decent minutes for the Oilers and doesn't score, meaning he is doing a good job of shutting down opponents.
With the trade deadline looming, the idea of Ceci being traded isn't one that has been widely circulated, however, he has voiced that he would welcome a return to his first-ever NHL city, the Ottawa Senators. With the Senators looking for a veteran defenseman, could Ceci be an option?
Cody Ceci has played 742 career NHL games and always said he'd love going back to where his career started.

Make the big man's dream come true :)

Ceci Could be Exactly What the Senators Need To Continue Rebuild

Ceci is a well-liked player in Edmonton, given his steady defensive ability this season. The Senators are struggling all over the ice, and have recently undergone a full coaching change. They are obviously looking for a changeup, and bringing in Ceci could be an option to give themselves a veteran presence to help lead them on the latter part of their rebuild.
As the deadline approaches, we will see what the Senators decide to do. They don't have much in terms of Cap Space, however, with a new coach, they might be willing to shake things up and make a big move.
