David Kampf's Wife Calls Out Sheldon Keefe on Social Media
Before last night's game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Carolina Hurricanes, Sheldon Keefe took another controversial decision.
Keefe Scratches Penalty Kill Specialist in 3-2 Loss to the Hurricanes
The Carolina Hurricanes won in overtime 3-2 at the Scotia Bank Arena and scored two goals out of four powerplay opportunities.
The penalty kill was greatly weakened by Keefe's decision to healthy scratch the forward David Kampf, who's one of the only PK specialist on the team.
It's almost certain the Kampf could've make the difference. Without those two PP goals, the Leafs would've win.
Most importantly, Keefe shattered Kampf's chances of breaking an important NHL record. The 28-year-old center had a 323 games streak, which Keefe sent down the drain.
