There's no doubt about it: Marc-André Fleury will be a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame when he decides to hang up his skates.

He had a legendary career, marked by three Stanley Cups and a Vezina Trophy.
Today, he reached an impressive milestone, proving that he deserves a spot among the NHL legends.

In the last few minutes, the game between the Minnesota Wild and the Winnipeg Jets started and Fleury started between the pipes for what is his 1000th game in the NHL.
He joins fellow Quebec goalies Martin Brodeur, Roberto Luongo and Patrick Roy as the only goaltenders to reach that impressive mark in NHL history.
The NHL made the following statement:
"A Flower in full bloom 🌸

Marc-Andre Fleury joins Martin Brodeur, Roberto Luongo, and Patrick Roy as the only goalies in NHL history to reach the 1,000 games played mark.

Congratulations on this incredible achievement, Flower!"

Another Record Within Fleury's Reach

If he wins tonight, Fleury will join Patrick Roy at the second spot for the most win in the NHL by a goalie, with 551.
That could be a historic game for the Wild, and especially for Fleury.
Do you think Fleury will play another season in the NHL?
