In breaking news, the fate of Jaromir Jagr has been confirmed by this announcement earlier today.

Jagr to Play Another Season in Czech League Delaying Potential Hall of Fame Bid

There is no question that Jaromir Jagr is set to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. The real question is when, as Jagr continues to play professionally in Europe even though he is 51 years old.

With Jagr to play another season for Kladno, that bid into the Hall of Fame will have to wait even longer, according to Chris Johnston.

With Jaromir Jagr playing his first game of the season for Kladno, the earliest he'll be eligible for induction to the Hockey Hall of Fame is 2027.

2027 is a long way away, and with the way that Jagr has been, it could be even later, as he shows no signs of slowing down in the European leagues.
