The Minnesota Wild have just made a wild decision regarding Marc-Andre Fleury, making the organization look terrible in the process.

Fleury's Potential Last Game in Pittsburgh Tonight After Storied Career There

Marc Andre-Fleury is undoubtedly one of the greatest and most storied goaltenders in modern NHL history. As his career is beginning to wrap up, many are looking back on sentimental moments he has had during his time in the NHL.

A lot of those moments come in the Pittsburgh Penguins uniform, as Fleury was drafted their first overall back in 2003, and played with the Penguins until the end of the 2016-17 season. It's clear there is a special place in Fleury's heart for Pittsburgh, as he noted in an interview.

Marc-Andre Fleury: «It's always been special for me, coming to Pittsburgh. Obviously spent a lot of time here, and people have always been very welcoming every time I come back to town. It's always fun to be back."

Fleury Will Not Start In What Could Be His Final Game in Pittsburgh

Now, it has been revealed that Fleury will not start for the Wild in his potential last game in Pittsburgh. The move has many questioning what is going on in Minnesota, however, head coach John Hynes has stuck to his guns on the plan.

In what could be Marc-Andre Fleury's last game in Pittsburgh, head coach John Hynes said Filip Gustavsson will be the starting goaltender.

Hynes said the decision was "part of the plan"

While Fleury hasn't formally announced his potential retirement after this year, it will be unfortunate not to see him play in Pittsburgh tonight.
