Now, the team has officially become the odds-on favourite for him to sign with, in what many analysts are marking as the most lucrative free agency deal in all of sports.
It was even rumoured that a sushi restaurant near by has been booked out for tonight, as many have speculated that this will be the location of the celebration of Ohtani's deal.
