The New Jersey Devils have been on a major slide as of late. Today they added a forward to their team to hopefully stop the fall off.

Devils Sign A Forward To Give Them A Boost

Today reports have indicated that the Devils have signed Samuel Laberge to an NHL contract. Laberge had previously been playing with AHL Utica in the Devils organization.

The #Devils have signed forward Samuel Laberge 🇨🇦 to a one-year deal worth $775K AAV.

Laberge, 26, has one goal, three points through eight games played with the Utica Comets (AHL) this season.

We have signed Samuel Laberge to a one year, two way contract.

Laberge is a feel-good success story. Starting out in the ECHL after going undrafted out of the QMJHL. Laberge with his strong start to the AHL season has earned a contract.

As of now, it is unknown if Laberge is in for a call-up to the NHL or not.
