If anyone thinks Anthony Beauvillier is fretting over his lack of production so far this season, he wants you to know you're wrong.

Beauvillier With A Message for Casual Hockey Fans

Beauvillier, who's been fairly consistent with putting pucks in the net throughout his career, has just two goals in 20 game this season. However, he says he's not losing sleep over it, and if you think his lack of production has anything to do with his play, you don't know hockey.

"I think I'm playing well right now, they're just not coming easy. At the end of the day, I'm going home feeling good about my game. That's the most important thing. Call it luck, call it got to pick my corners a little better. I think I'm skating well and trying to play hard and be hard to play against. It will come. I feel confident about my game."

Beauvillier has been adjusting to a lower role with the team this year than he's ever had in his career. While he isn't scoring as much, he isn't getting scored on either, as he is currently a plus-8.

Beauvillier Says Casual Fans Need to Pay More Attention to his Game

If Beauvillier is headed for a bad season, this would be the worst time to do it. The 26 year old's current contract, which carries a $4.15 million cap hit, expires at the end of this season making him an unrestricted free agent.
