A young centre with the Columbus Blue Jackets is up for grabs and can go to any team that wants him.
Blue Jackets Place Young Centre on Waivers
Emil Bemstrom, a fourth round draft pick in 2017, has been placed on waivers by the Blue Jackets.
Bemstrom has been trying to find a regular spot with Columbus since being drafted 117th overall. Last season, he played 55 games in the NHL, with another 21 in the minors. If he clears waivers, this will be his first stint in the AHL this season.
Young Centre Hits the Waiver Wire
Bemstrom hasn't been playing badly this season. In 12 games, he has three goals and four points. He's also a minus -7. Increased confidence has been one of the things mentioned that Bemstrom could use more of to improve his game.
