German Ice Hockey League Mandates Cut-Resistant Neck Guards Following Adam Johnson's Fatal Incident

Per Chris Johnston, the German Ice Hockey League decided to make the neck guards mandatory, starting on January 1st.

"The German Ice Hockey League is mandating cut-resistant neck protection be worn by all players starting Jan. 1, following a unanimous vote from the sports directors of the league's 14 clubs."

This is a significant development in players' safety, and we can't wait to see what other measures are taken.
