In the first game of the season, Brandon Tanev was the victim of a hit that resulted in a suspension for Golden Knights forward Brett Howden.

Howden has since served his two-game suspension but unfortunately, Tanev will miss much more time as a result of this play.
The Kraken look to Tanev as a reliable middle-six forward who can chip in offensively when need be and provide excellent defense. Hopefully, he is able to return on the shorter side but with these injuries, nothing is certain.
