Breaking: Zach Werenski's Fate in Columbus Confirmed

In their first game of the season, the Blue Jackets were left holding their breath for the health of their star defenseman Zach Werenski.
After a major injury left him sidelined almost all season last year, he was looking forward to come back and play 82 games.
However, he had to leave the ice after a knee-on-knee collision with
Garnet Hathaway.
"Zach Werenski leaves the game following a scary knee-on-knee collision with Garnet Hathaway.
Hathaway was given a 2-minute minor for kneeing on the play."
Now, Columbus' head coach provided a major update on Werenski's injury.

Pascal Vincent, the Blue Jackets' head coach, revealed that the injury doesn't appear to be long-term.
"CLB head coach Pascal Vincent said Werenski's injury is not believed to be long-term"
More details should be unveiled soon. In the meantime, let's hope that he won't miss significant time for the second straight season.
