The Boston Bruins have announced their new captain, who will succeed Patrice Bergeron.

Brad Marchand has been named captain of the Boston Bruins.

One of the most abrasive players in the league, he will succeed legendary leaders Zdeno Chara and Patrice Bergeron.

It will be very exciting to see what Marchand, who is coming off an incredible few-season stint of performance, can do with this new letter on his jersey.
