This will be the first time that Drouin plays alongside MacKinnon since their time in juniors together, and now, after a disappointing 2022-23 campaign, they'll have a big role to play for the Avalanche's Stanley Cup hopes.
As for Drouin, he played in just 58 games a year ago, tallying 2 goals and 29 points with Montreal, but now, he finds himself on a big time contender, and if he can find his footing alongside the two stars, this could be one of the best lines in all of hockey.
