After a tough playoff run with the New York Rangers, Kane will certainly be looking to join a top team to try to win another Stanley Cup before he retires.
Arthur Staple of The Athletic made the following guess:
"Patrick Kane will re-sign with the New York Rangers in November"
Kane Back with the Rangers?
Kane is currently about to enter his 17th season in the NHL, at 34 years old. He can still be a great asset ad produce offense, as we saw last season, where he score 57 points in 73 games.
It's clear that he's not the player he used to be, but he turned into a veteran leader that can help younger players and help the others on the ice shine.
The organization will need to evaluate if they need him and if they can afford him, but many fans are hoping to see Kane back with the Rangers next season.
