Jeff Petry Reveals Thoughts on His Trade to the Red Wings
Jeff Petry was recently traded to Detroit and he has shared his thoughts on getting traded.
Petry Traded Twice
The past year has been a whirlwind for Jeff Petry. He has been traded three separate times in the past 13 months and has been moved twice in the past month.
It started with the three-team Erik Karlsson trade which saw Petry head to Montreal so Pittsburgh could have some more cap space.
Then shortly after being traded to Montreal, he was flipped to Detroit to the Red Wings.
Petry Shares His Thoughts
Now landing in Detroit, Petry has shared his thoughts on now being with his hometown Red Wings.
In Petry's introductory presser with the Red Wings, he revealed how meaningful it was to be traded to Detroit.
Petry also said how he always wanted to be a Red Wing.
He also touched on Detroit's future and how he wants to help.
With Petry now with his hometown team, he will look to help them make the playoffs once again after missing it the past couple of seasons.
