The tough reality for many players seeking NHL careers is that there's just not enough room for them. Many thus sign in Europe.

Three Intriguing Young Players Leave the NHL

Three young players signed in Europe today, leaving their NHL organizations.

The first is 2016 4th round pick Connor Bunnaman, who has played over 50 NHL games.

The second is Aidan Dudas, who looked great with the LA Kings' AHL affiliate this past season. He was equally part of the Canadian 2020 world juniors team.

Finally, 27-year-old Bobby Nardella has signed with HV71 in Sweden. HV71 is certainly a good place to be, joining top prospect Oscar Fisker-Molgaard.

Today's Euro signings:

#FlaPanthers UFA Connor Bunnaman to Kärpät (Finland)

#LAKings UFA Aidan Dudas to TPS (Finland)

#Caps UFA Bobby Nardella to HV71 (Sweden)

None of these players were on track to be stars, but it's disappointing to see them give up on their NHL dreams. Could we see one of them return to this side of the pond one day?
