The Anaheim Ducks have offered a contract to their best player which is disrespectful considering what he provides offensively.

Anaheim's Best Player

The Anaheim Ducks are a team at rock bottom. They finished last season dead last in the NHL and did not have a single player scoring over a point per game. Many fans will say that Trevor Zegras is the Anaheim Ducks' best player and while he is their brightest star he is not their best player.
Zegras scored 65 points in 82 games last season. His teammate, Troy Terry, posted 61 in 70 which equates to a 71-point pace that surpasses Zegras.
Terry is the Ducks' best player and he recently filed for arbitration with the Ducks after not being able to agree on a contract. The Ducks' offer has been revealed and it is disrespectfully low.

Anaheim's Disrespectful Offer To Terry

Insider Elliotte Friedman revealed what Terry was asking for and what the Ducks were asking for.
$4.5 million for a player who led your team in scoring is downright disrespectful. Terry is worth closer to the $8 million ask but it is now up to an arbitrator on what Terry will get.
Odds are, it will be close to $6.5 million but it would not be shocking to see him be awarded over $7 million.
