BREAKING: Islanders Sign Three Players to Max Term Deals Including Ilya Sorokin

The New York Islanders have announced that the team has signed three players to massive contracts. This comes after a relatively quiet start to free agency for the Isles.

The Islanders have announced massive extensions for Scott Mayfield, Pierre Engvall, and Ilya Sorokin.

This is major, especially considering that the team announced a contract extension for goaltender Semyon Varlamov earlier in the day.

Lou Lamoriello is certainly not shying away from some aggressive moves here as free agency gets under full swing. We'd be shocked if he's done signing players.
